Kazakhstan Says It Will Not Recognize Taliban Administration

Kazakhstan has declared that it will not recognize the Taliban administration. A senior diplomat from the Central Asian nation made this clear in recent statements. The diplomat pointed out that the policy follows the decisions of the UN Security Council.
Assistance to Afghanistan remains important according to the diplomat. Bringing the country into legal economic processes can help stop drug trafficking. It can also reduce illegal migration and cross-border terrorism. Additionally, such integration may prevent the formation of destructive vacuums in the region.
