In Ghor province, the local Education Directorate has taken steps to support science education by distributing laboratory equipment and educational materials to a total of seventy schools. The project was financed entirely from the directorate's budget, with an amount of two hundred sixty seven thousand two hundred Afghanis allocated for this purpose.
The primary objective behind this distribution is to enhance the quality of instruction in various scientific fields. These fields include biology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Additionally, the initiative is expected to contribute to the development of talents among the students attending these schools.
Zabihullah Wafa serves as the media official for the Ghor Education Directorate. In his remarks regarding the project, Wafa explained that the provision of such equipment and materials will largely address the problems that schools have been encountering. He further pointed out that students will now be able to conduct better practical experiments in addition to their theoretical studies.
The distribution is seen as a positive measure to tackle ongoing challenges in the education sector within the province. By equipping the schools with necessary tools, officials anticipate an improvement in overall learning outcomes for the students involved.
