
Land Distributed to 1,413 Returning Families in Four Provinces
KABUL (Afghan Verified) -- The Permanent Settlement and Land Distribution Committee has distributed residential plots to 1,413 returning families across four provinces, Deputy Spokesman Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat said in a statement on behalf of the committee.
The land was allocated as follows: 224 plots in Zabul province, 150 in Samangan, 934 in Kunduz and 105 in Sar-e Pol.
Fitrat said that since the land distribution process began, a total of 8,275 returning families have received residential plots.
In addition, he noted that 429 refugee families, comprising 2,241 individuals, returned to Afghanistan yesterday.
