Mawlawi Abdul Kabir Meets Islamic Emirate Consul in Peshawar to Discuss Afghan Returnees' Challenges

KABUL (Afghan Verified) - Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Minister of Refugees and Repatriates, met with Hafiz Mahbubullah Shakir, the Islamic Emirate's General Consul in Peshawar, to discuss challenges faced by Afghan returnees from Pakistan.

The meeting focused on issues including delays in migrant registration in Pakistan and Afghan families stuck beyond the Durand line. Hafiz Mahbubullah Shakir stated that registration processes for Afghan migrants in Pakistan are facing problems, with thousands of Afghan families waiting.

Shakir shared proposals to resolve the difficulties of Afghan families stranded beyond the Durand line. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir praised the consulate's efforts and committed to providing financial facilities for the essentials of returnees beyond the Durand line.

Abdul Kabir stated that the problems of migrants beyond the Durand line would be raised with international institutions.
