The Mazar-i-Sharif municipality has started asphalt paving work on a road in the Kart-e-Naw Bahar area of the city. The road measures 550 meters in length and the project is valued at more than 7.2 million Afghanis.
Deputy Mayor Maulvi Enayatullah Khalid stated that the paving is intended to strengthen urban infrastructure and ease movement for residents. He said the project will help address problems faced by people living in the area.
The municipality is implementing 31 development and infrastructure projects across the city's twelve districts during solar year 1405. Local residents have welcomed the start of the work and expect it to reduce difficulties with movement once completed.
