
Ministry of Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong: Handled 368 Women's Cases in One Month
The Ministry of Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong, Prevention of Vice and Hearing Complaints announced in a press release that it addressed 368 cases related to women's Sharia rights during the past month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
According to the press release, the ministry also arrested 30 sorcerers, resolved 175 cases of enmity and disputes, held 743 meetings with traders and conducted 1,304 reformative meetings with religious scholars and various sectors of society.
The announcement provides monthly statistics on the ministry's activities in enforcing social and religious norms.
