Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments Completes Transfer of Thirty Thousand Afghan Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments announced the successful completion of transporting thirty thousand Afghan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in two phases using a total of ninety seven flights.

The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments has stated that the transportation of pilgrims from Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj has now been finished. This announcement comes after a series of flights that moved a large number of people over a period of time.
The entire series of transfers commenced on the first of Dhul Qadah according to the Islamic calendar. It reached its conclusion when the final flight arrived at its destination the day before the ministry made its statement public.
The first stage of the operation saw fourteen thousand nine hundred eighty four pilgrims being sent on direct flights to Madinah. This required a total of forty eight flights to complete the movement of this group.
More than fifteen thousand additional pilgrims were handled in the second stage. These individuals were transported to Makkah by way of Jeddah. Forty nine flights were utilized for this part of the process.
When combined, the two phases accounted for the movement of thirty thousand pilgrims in all. The ministry has expressed satisfaction with how the transfers were executed.
