Ministry of Rural Reconstruction and Development Coordinates Water Projects for Refugee Camps

Minister Abdul Latif Mansour of the Ministry of Rural Reconstruction and Development held a coordination meeting with representatives from various institutions to discuss the strategic implementation of water and health projects. The primary objective of the meeting was to coordinate efforts specifically focused on providing essential drinking water to camps for returnee refugees.

During the session, Minister Mansour stated that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has assigned the Ministry of Rural Reconstruction and Development the specific task of ensuring that returnee refugee camps are equipped with adequate drinking water facilities. He emphasized that the Ministry is committed to implementing these projects according to established standards to ensure long-term viability.

The Minister further detailed the Ministry's intention to prioritize remote and marginalized areas for the development of sustainable water projects. He asserted that the current security conditions across the country have significantly enhanced the government's ability to implement and maintain sustainable infrastructure projects in regions that were previously difficult to access.

The coordination meeting aimed to synchronize the activities of the Ministry with those of other institutional partners to streamline the delivery of services.
