The Ministry of Virtue and Vice, Prevention of Vice and Handling of Complaints announced that it addressed 450 cases related to women's rights during the month of Jawza. The cases covered issues including inheritance, bride price, domestic violence, forced marriage, maintenance, marriage facilitation, and divorce.

The ministry provided a breakdown of the cases. There were 71 inheritance cases, 40 bride price cases, 216 domestic violence cases, 45 forced marriage cases, 29 maintenance cases, 27 Sharia marriage condition cases, and 22 divorce cases.

Ministry inspectors arrested 45 sorcerers in several provinces during Jawza and handed them over for Sharia rulings. Inspectors also resolved 55 major enmities and 243 minor disputes across the country.
