The Ministry of Virtue Promotion, Vice Prevention and Grievance Hearing announced that its inspectors resolved 137 cases related to women's rights this week across Afghanistan. The cases included 61 domestic violence incidents, 22 inheritance disputes, 18 un-Islamic marriages, 12 bride price matters, 10 alimony cases, 8 Islamic marriage conditions, and 6 divorces.
Inspectors also resolved 15 major enmities and 69 minor disputes to prevent ethnic and linguistic prejudices. They arrested 13 sorcerers and referred them to judicial organs.
The inspectors held 187 corrective meetings with traders and destroyed five tons of expired goods. They conducted 364 corrective meetings with local people across the country.
