Construction of a new mosque in the Khishko Dara area of Siagard district in Parwan province has been completed, and the facility has been inaugurated for public use. The building project lasted 18 months from start to finish.

The mosque spans 16 meters by 20 meters and stands on half a jerib of land. Funding for the construction came from public donations amounting to 150,000 USD.

Details of the project were provided by Dr. Abdullah Afghanmal, who is a resident of the local area. He spoke about the specifications and the intended uses of the new structure.

The mosque is capable of holding 1,000 worshippers at one time. Plans for the facility include its use for daily prayers as well as religious education and other community activities.

Dr. Afghanmal further noted that several other mosques and religious schools have been constructed in various parts of Parwan province in recent times through similar public support. A number of these buildings have already begun serving the community.

This development reflects ongoing efforts to enhance religious and educational facilities in the province through community contributions. The inauguration marks an important addition to the infrastructure available to residents in Siagard district.
