The Munir Ahmad Taekwondo Athletes Association has been declared the winner of the 13th Kabul Adult Taekwondo Selection Competition. The team achieved this result by amassing 29 points throughout the tournament. This outcome was determined following the completion of all matches in the event.
The competition attracted a total of 100 athletes who came from 15 clubs based in the capital city of Kabul. These participants took part in various bouts that were organized into eight different weight categories. The entire selection process unfolded over the span of two days.
Team rankings placed the Ghafoor Nabi Taekwondo Athletes Association in second position after they scored 13 points. The Uthman bin Affan Taekwondo Athletes Association followed in third place with a score of 7 points. Fourth place went to the Ahmadi Taekwondo Athletes Association, which earned 3 points. The Delsouz Taekwondo Athletes team ended the competition in fifth place with 2 points.
Additional recognition was given to outstanding individuals involved in the competition. Ahmad Farzad Stanakzai earned the distinction of best fighter by accumulating 172 points. Abdul Ghafoor Bahram was named the best coach for his contributions during the event.
