
New Middle School Building Completed in Herat’s Injil District
A newly constructed building for the Abu Ali Sina Middle School has been completed and officially handed over in Shadi Jan village, located in Herat province’s Injil district. The educational facility was developed with funding from a partner organization at a total cost of approximately $56,000.
The completed structure includes six classrooms, a dedicated administrative office, and several essential amenities intended to support daily academic activities. Herat Provincial Education Director Mawlawi Mohammad Rahmani formally announced the completion of the project during the handover ceremony. He emphasized that the new building will directly benefit local students by providing a safer and more structured learning environment. Rahmani also outlined upcoming development phases for the school, which will include the construction of a perimeter boundary wall and additional site improvements.
The project has drawn positive responses from both local residents and education authorities. Community members in Injil district described the new facility as a vital step toward strengthening educational access and upgrading school infrastructure in the region. Provincial education officials reiterated their commitment to working alongside partner organizations to address infrastructure gaps and ensure that students across Herat have access to adequate learning spaces. The handover of the Abu Ali Sina Middle School building reflects ongoing efforts to expand educational facilities in western Afghanistan.
