New Mosque Opens at Laghman Transport Department

A new mosque has been completed and officially put into use at the premises of the Transport Department in Laghman province. The facility, which is designed to accommodate up to 60 worshippers, was constructed over a period of seven months.
The construction of the mosque was funded by the budget of the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments. According to officials, the total cost of the project amounted to 1,345,420 Afghanis.
The opening of the facility was marked by the presence of several provincial and departmental officials. Among those in attendance were Hafiz Anzargal Abdullah, the Deputy Governor of Laghman, and Maulvi Abdul Baqi Asim, the Head of the Department of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments. Additionally, Maulvi Shirin Agha Akhandzada, the Head of Land Transport Regulation, was present for the inauguration.
The mosque is now operational and available for use by the staff of the Transport Department as well as members of the public visiting the government office.
