NANGARHAR, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) -- One person was killed and 35 others injured when a vehicle transporting returning refugees overturned in the Surkhrod district of Nangarhar province on Wednesday night.

Nangarhar provincial police headquarters stated the accident occurred in the Sheikh Mesri area of the district.
