
Over 48,000 Citizenship Tazkiras Distributed in Sar-e Pol Province Over Past Year
SAR-E POL, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) -- The Statistics and Information Department in Sar-e Pol province distributed 48,023 citizenship tazkiras over the past year, including 25,000 electronic tazkiras and 23,023 paper tazkiras, Mufti Hamidullah Labib, head of the department, said.
The department provided vital events registration services to 945 people. This included issuing 432 birth cards, 413 death certificates, 33 marriage registrations and 67 divorce registrations.
Corrections were also made to 4,811 paper tazkiras.
Labib said the province has one active electronic tazkira distribution center that provides various services.
In addition, the department collected social and economic information, recorded market prices, conducted food security surveys and carried out address mapping during the past year.
