Daikundi province has started the distribution of residential plots to more than seven hundred returned migrant families that have been determined to be eligible for the support. The process began after the relevant department completed a review of documents belonging to more than eleven thousand migrant families that were received from the central government.

The review was done following all legal procedures and the criteria that have been set for such distributions. Esmatullah Salehi, who is the head of the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Daikundi, has confirmed that the plots are being given to the more than seven hundred families that passed the evaluation.

Returned migrants have expressed their satisfaction with the distribution of the housing plots. They have indicated that receiving these plots will help them solve their problems related to shelter and will also improve their living conditions in the area.

The program is not limited to Daikundi and is ongoing in various other provinces of Afghanistan. This allows more returned migrant families in different parts of the country to benefit from similar housing assistance measures.
