
Population Registration Services Provided to Over 11,000 People in Nuristan in Solar Year 1404
The Statistics and Information Department of Nuristan Province provided a range of population registration services to 11,470 people during the solar year 1404.
Mawlawi Qudratullah Shamshir, who is the head of the Statistics and Information Department of Nuristan Province, provided details on the specific services delivered. The department distributed 5,287 electronic tazkeras and 5,289 paper tazkeras to people in the province during that year.
In addition, the department provided vital events registration for 510 people. It also offered citizenship tazkera correction services to 384 people.
The department had two electronic tazkera distribution centers in operation. These centers were located in Parun city and Kamdesh district. Additional services were provided in Parun to assist the local population.
Beyond the tazkera and registration services, the Afghanistan Health Survey was implemented in Nuristan Province in the solar year 1404. Some development projects were also carried out with the goal of providing convenience to visitors of the department.
All these services combined to benefit a total of 11,470 people in the province last year. The figures include all categories of services offered by the department.
The operation of the two centers facilitated the distribution of the electronic tazkeras in different parts of Nuristan. The paper tazkeras were distributed as part of the same overall effort.
The vital events registration and the citizenship corrections represent important aspects of maintaining civil records in the province.
The health survey and the development projects were part of the department's broader activities during the year.
