Private Health Center Opens in Khost Province

A new private health center, named 'Roshan', has opened in Khost province following an investment of over 3 million Afghanis. The facility is designed to provide essential medical services locally to reduce the reliance of residents on medical travel to neighboring countries.

The center offers specialized services in general internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and surgery. Ismat Roshan, the head of the center, stated that the investment was made to provide local health services so that patients would no longer need to travel to Peshawar for treatment.

The facility is staffed by three doctors and several professional nurses. Its infrastructure includes a laboratory, digital X-ray equipment, and emergency surgery rooms.

The opening was attended by officials, including Dr. Syed Jamil Shah Zazai and Hafizullah Sabri, who highlighted the facility's role in improving healthcare access within the province.
