The Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has forecast rainfall and possible flash floods in 20 provinces on Friday. The provinces that will receive the rainfall are Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Logar, Kabul, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Bamyan, Samangan, Badakhshan, Takhar and Sar-I-Pul.

Predicted rainfall levels range from 10 to 35 millimeters in the affected provinces. Wind speeds of 50 to 100 kilometers per hour are forecast across central, northern, eastern, southeastern and western regions. Snowfall is forecast in high-altitude and cold areas.
