Relief International Donates Medical Equipment to Health Centers in Nimroz
Relief International has donated medical and non-medical equipment valued at $82,960 to health facilities in Nimroz province. The donation is intended to strengthen local healthcare services and support medical operations across the region.
Mullah Abdulrahman Abdullah, the provincial head of public health, confirmed the transfer of supplies to the provincial hospital and several other health centers. He stated that the equipment will help address resource needs and improve service delivery for local residents.
Abdullah welcomed the contribution and expressed appreciation for the humanitarian organization’s support. He also called on other domestic and international aid groups to provide similar assistance to help sustain healthcare operations in the province.
The delivery of supplies follows broader efforts to support medical infrastructure in Nimroz. In a separate recent development, a local merchant also donated medical equipment and essential supplies to the Zaranj provincial hospital, further supplementing the region’s healthcare resources.
Provincial health officials noted that consistent aid from humanitarian partners remains important for maintaining clinic operations. Authorities plan to distribute the newly delivered items to designated facilities based on current patient needs and operational requirements.
