
Rural Rehabilitation Minister Calls for Sincere Service During Provincial Visit
Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, has urged staff to serve the people with sincerity, honesty and trustworthiness.
According to Bakhtar News, Mansour visited Paktia province and met with employees from the local Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directorate. He told them that the country and its people need more work and service, particularly in development and reconstruction projects.
Bakhtar News also reported that the minister held a meeting with Maulvi Abdul Qayyum Rohani, commander of the Mansouri Army Corps. The two discussed security, project implementation and coordination.
RTA reported that the minister visited Maidan Wardak province. There, he met with officials from the local Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department and heard their problems and requests.
The minister instructed the officials to serve the people sincerely and honestly, to keep the doors of their offices open to the public, to be punctual in their duties and to carry out their tasks in accordance with Islamic values, RTA said.
Both outlets reported that the minister emphasized the need for better performance by employees in line with Islamic principles.
