Rural Rehabilitation Minister Meets Logar Religious Scholars and Tribal Elders

Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, met in his office with religious scholars and tribal elders from Logar province. Among those present was Maulvi Mohammad Naqib Mohammadi, son of the late Maulvi Mohammad Nabi Mohammadi.

The visitors expressed satisfaction with development projects underway in Logar and raised a number of local problems for discussion with the minister.

Mansour stated that the ministry will prioritize reconstruction in areas that received no work over the past 20 years. He acknowledged that the hardships faced by Logar residents in their past experiences with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are worthy of appreciation.

The minister added that local problems will be addressed according to the ministry's capabilities. The meeting provided an opportunity for direct exchange between the ministry and representatives from the province on matters of reconstruction and community needs.
