Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani Emphasizes Implementation of Amir al-Mu'minin's Order Number Seventeen in Badghis

The Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani, has traveled to Badghis province where he joined local authorities in a meeting dedicated to the implementation of Order Number Seventeen issued by Amir al-Mu'minin.

This order is seen by officials as a key directive that aims to steer Afghan society toward moral virtues while protecting it from various forms of superstition, participants in the meeting noted.

Muhajir Farahi, the Deputy Minister of Publications, told those gathered that it is essential for government officials to lead by example. Farahi said they should apply the principles of the order personally prior to advocating for its widespread adoption through religious platforms and mass media.

For his part, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani explained that the order seeks to serve the public good. The minister highlighted how it brings about ease and simplicity for citizens, helps keep society clear of superstitious beliefs, and ultimately contributes to the enhancement of social conditions throughout the country.

In addition to the meeting, Haqqani paid a visit to the provincial Information and Culture Directorate in Badghis. During the stop, he called on employees to focus on refining their operational methods, increasing their professional skills and broadening the range of cultural programs and media outreach at the local level.

The events in Badghis underscore the priority placed on ensuring that such leadership orders are not only understood but actively put into practice by both officials and the general population.
