Supreme Court Delegation Visits Nuristan to Assess Judicial Operations

A high-level delegation from the Supreme Court recently traveled to Nuristan province to evaluate the operations of local courts and assess institutional requirements. The visit was led by Deputy Administrative Director Sheikh Sakhawullah Saeed and included General Director of the Secretariat Mufti Abdul Rashid Saeed and General Director of Staff Affairs Mawlawi Saifullah Agha.

During the visit, the delegation held meetings with provincial judicial staff to review ongoing case management procedures and administrative workflows. Officials emphasized the need for courts to operate efficiently and adhere to established legal standards. The visiting team directed local judges and court administrators to issue rulings in a timely manner, ensuring that all decisions are grounded in strong evidentiary standards and comply with Sharia law.

The delegation also stressed the importance of maintaining strict professional discipline within the provincial judiciary. Court personnel were instructed to prevent arbitrary or unprincipled rulings and to uphold transparency in their administrative and judicial functions.
