Taliban Restrict Lalmi Cultivation in Ghazni's Nahor District to Local Residents
Taliban in Ghazni's Nahor district have restricted Lalmi cultivation to local village residents only, barring landowners from elsewhere like Ghazni city. Local residents criticize the policy as enabling more Kochis in the area after past obstructions by nomads.

Taliban authorities in Nahor district of Ghazni province have restricted Lalmi cultivation to residents of local villages only.
Local sources cited an official letter announcing the policy, which allows only individuals residing in the villages to cultivate Lalmi on lands close to their communities. Landowners living elsewhere, including in Ghazni city, are no longer permitted to use their fields in Nahor for this purpose.
Many original residents of Nahor district have relocated to Ghazni city or other areas but continue to own agricultural lands in the district.
Local residents have criticized the restriction, arguing that it facilitates a greater presence of Kochis in the area. They pointed to previous incidents in which nomads obstructed Lalmi cultivation or destroyed lands.

Reliability assessment
Single source based on unnamed local sources citing an official letter; core event (Taliban restriction on Lalmi cultivation in Nahor) lacks independent corroboration or named/on-record attribution.
The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. Amu TV: 'Local residents have criticized this Taliban decision and see it as paving the way for increased presence of Kochis' introduces locals' opinion and advocacy framing; 'Kochis have obstructed Lalmi cultivation or destroyed agricultural lands' adds accusatory emotional loading about past actions.
Independent web corroboration
An independent web search turned up no separate corroborating reports. Treat the account as single-sourced until more outlets pick it up.
