PUL-I-ALAM, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) — A teenage boy died and 15 others were injured after a minibus crashed into a residential house in the Juma Kala area of Pul-i-Alam, the capital of Logar province, on Thursday afternoon.
Mawlawi Ahmadullah Ans, spokesperson for Logar police, said the accident resulted from the minibus driver's negligence.
Police transported the injured to Nawab Amanullah Khan Central Hospital and the 300-bed Konjak Hospital in Pul-i-Alam. Ans stated that two of the injured were in critical condition, while the rest suffered minor injuries.
Ans called on drivers to strictly follow traffic rules to avoid similar incidents.
