Tehran Prosecutor's Office Orders Seizure of Assets of More Than 100 Accused of Supporting Israel

Tehran Prosecutor's Office has ordered the seizure of assets and the freezing of bank accounts belonging to more than 100 Iranians accused of supporting Israel abroad. The accused include cinema actors, athletes and journalists with connections to Israel.

An unnamed Iranian security official, quoted by Fars News Agency, warned of a "big surprise" for the United States and Israel in the ongoing war. The official said Tehran is targeting a "specific target bank" and described U.S. President Donald Trump's threats to attack bridges as "ridiculous," citing U.S. failures including downed warplanes.

Trump warned that if Iran does not agree to peace within 48 hours, "hell" would rain down on the country. Tehran described the ultimatum as "desperate and nervous" and rejected it outright.

Iran reported that recent U.S. and Israeli attacks killed five people and wounded 170 others in the Mahshahr petrochemical area. It also claimed that more than 30 universities have been targeted since the war began.

Trump stated that the attacks had eliminated Iran's army, navy, missile and drone systems, as well as first-, second- and third-tier leaders.
