
Third Electronic National ID Branch Opens in Paktika's Zargun Shahr District
Paktika province officials have opened a third branch for the distribution of electronic national IDs in Zargun Shahr district. The branch was established based on public demand and in cooperation with the relevant national agency, said Maulvi Faiz Muhammad Samim, head of Paktika's Statistics and Information Directorate.
Samim explained that the facility aims to ease access for residents of Zargun Shahr and neighboring districts. He stated that it will reduce the need for people to undertake long journeys and will speed up services.
The official added that the new center will make service delivery faster and more organized. This is the third such branch in the province after a previous electronic ID center was opened in Argun district at the request of the people.
Tribal elders and youth from Zargun Shahr district welcomed the opening. They praised the development as an important and beneficial step for the local community and surrounding areas.
