Three mental health treatment centers have been established in the Pariyan district of Panjshir province to address the region's psychological and healthcare requirements.

The project was funded by a $200,000 investment from the Dastak Komak organization and was implemented in coordination with the local administration. The new facilities are located at the Pariyan basic health clinic, the Kojan village health center, and the Kohsar and Karpitab sub-centers.

In addition to mental health services, the initiative provides nutritional support for malnourished mothers and the distribution of anti-anemia medication. The project also focuses on economic development in remote areas by providing support for the establishment of small businesses and the industrial sector.

Saifuddin Laton, spokesperson for the Governor of Panjshir, and Dr. Hujjatullah Mohammadi, the province's head of public health, stated that the opening of these centers represents a significant step in improving the availability of essential health services for the local population.
