A transport terminal constructed at a cost of 32 million Afghanis has been inaugurated in the center of Zabul province. The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation oversaw the project, which includes a three-story administrative building, a passenger waiting area, and a boundary wall. Construction was completed in 14 months before the facility was handed over for use.
Mawlawi Nazif, head of ground transport and regulation for Zabul, said the terminal will reduce urban traffic congestion and improve facilities for passengers. Zabul Governor Mola Sher Mohammad Sharif described the terminal as an important step for transport development and public services in the province.
