The crash occurred late Thursday night in the Azizkala area of Sayedabad district in Maidan Wardak province.
Maidan Wardak provincial police headquarters issued a statement regarding the incident.
The passenger bus was a five hundred eighty type vehicle operated by Mirwais Nika Transport Company.
Those injured in the collision were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
