
WHO Delivers 374 Medical Kits to Jawzjan Public Health Department
The World Health Organization has delivered 374 medical kits to the Public Health Department of Jawzjan province in northern Afghanistan.
The handover of the kits to the pharmacy department took place in the presence of an appointed delegation. The Ministry of Public Health announced the delivery through a statement posted on X.
Syed Ziaullah Hosseini, the Public Health Director of Jawzjan, thanked the World Health Organization for its continued support. He stated that the kits would be used effectively according to the priorities of the health sector.
The Ministry of Public Health said the provision of the medical kits will strengthen the preparedness of health facilities in the province. Officials added that the aid will improve service delivery during emergencies.
The delivery is intended to bolster the capacity of health facilities across Jawzjan to respond effectively when urgent medical situations occur. With the addition of the 374 medical kits, provincial health authorities expect enhanced readiness and more efficient handling of emergency health needs in the region.
