Work Begins on Laying Out Residential Plots in Rabat Migrants Town, Paktia Province
The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing announced the start of laying out residential plots in Rabat Migrants Town, Paktia province.
The ministry's press office stated that the process of distributing land for returning migrant families continues across various provinces. In Paktia, the technical and professional team from the province's Urban Development and Housing Department has begun practical work on laying out the plots.
The effort is under the guidance of Minister Maulvi Najibullah Hayat Khani and follows the approved plan and delegated authorities. Necessary technical measures have been taken to accelerate the process, with plots expected to be ready for distribution to returning migrants in the near future.
Rabat Migrants Town has been planned on approximately 2,000 jeribs of land. In addition to residential areas, the development includes basic facilities. The ministry said the town will provide permanent shelter for returning families, helping to stabilize their lives and promote social integration.
