Wrestling competitions involving athletes from the provinces of Balkh, Kabul, and Parwan were recently conducted in Mazar-i-Sharif city. The event brought together a total of 80 athletes who competed as part of six different teams.

He stated that teams from Balkh province demonstrated the strongest performance, securing both the first and second-place awards. A team representing Kabul province followed them, taking the third-place award.

The event was attended by several officials, including Molvi Khan Mir Tayyib, the head of the sports department, and Hafiz Mohammadullah 'Hammad', the spokesperson for the 209 Al-Fath Qul Army. The participation of these officials underscored the official support for the wrestling competitions held in the city.
