The Deputy Minister of Culture and Art attended a literary event in Logar province. Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi joined the gathering in Charkh district at the Maulana Dara recreational area.
Azizi used the occasion to speak about the importance of the site. He described Maulana Dara as one of the beautiful natural places in Afghanistan. Azizi pointed out that the Charkh district has a reputation as the homeland of Ghazis, scholars, and prominent figures.
The deputy minister also mentioned Maulana Yaqub Charkhi. He called him the pride of the Islamic Ummah. Azizi made clear that efforts to protect and develop the historical and cultural site will continue.
