Traditional Gul-e-Zard Poetry Gathering Held in Kapisa

A traditional Gul-e-Zard poetry gathering was held in Kapisa province. The event was organized by the Directorate of Tarannum under the Ministry of Information and Culture and drew participation from poets, youth, and cultural figures.

Maulvi Karimullah Wathiq, head of Information and Culture for Kapisa province, said the gathering is a longstanding provincial tradition that strengthens cultural identity. Officials at the event spoke about the value of poetry, described the role of poets as important, and urged greater attention to poetic content while calling for additional programs. Poets presented their literary works and said such gatherings are necessary for preserving culture.
