Three-Day Tourism Capacity-Building Seminar Concludes in Herat

A three-day capacity-building seminar for tourism companies in Afghanistan's Western Zone concluded in Herat. The event was organized by the Tourism and Hotel Management Institute under the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.

The seminar focused on providing professional training and improving the quality of tourism services. Officials said the training would help promote the province's historical, cultural and natural attractions.

Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi stated that efforts are underway to provide facilities for tourism growth. He reported that Afghanistan's tourism industry has grown by about 80 percent compared to the first years of the Islamic Emirate's rule and called for greater cooperation to support further development.
