173 Development and Infrastructure Projects Implemented in Ghor Province
The Ghor Economy Department announced the implementation of 173 development and infrastructure projects in the province this year, with 58 executed by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and 115 by cooperating institutions. The Ghor Economy Department has announced the implementation of 173 development and infrastructure projects in the province during the current year.
Maulvi Mohammad Nabi Khalid Mansour, head of the Ghor Economy Department, stated that the projects were carried out from the beginning of the current year until now across various sectors and districts.
Among the projects, 58 worth 304,527,637 afghanis were executed by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the sectors of governance and public services, security and public order, infrastructure and natural resources, economy and agriculture, education and training, as well as culture and religion.
Additionally, 115 projects costing 5,062,000,000 afghanis were implemented by cooperating institutions in coordination with the province's sectoral departments, focusing on health, agriculture, and humanitarian aid.
Of the total, 41 projects have been carried over to 2026, while the remaining projects were completed this year across 13 districts in Ghor province.
