Afghan Agriculture Deputy Minister Leads Delegation to Russia
KABUL (Afghan Verified) - A high-level delegation from Afghanistan's Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Maulvi Sadrazam Usmani, has traveled to Russia.
The delegation is scheduled to visit key scientific and technical centers in Russia's agriculture sector from April 12 to 17.
The primary objectives of the trip include boosting technical capacities in plant and animal quarantine, improving quality control systems for agricultural products, and familiarizing the delegation with advanced farming systems. The group also plans to hold discussions on facilitating the export of agricultural products.
During the visit, the delegation will tour laboratories for detecting plant diseases, centers for evaluating the quality of agricultural products, and research institutions specializing in pest control and quarantine. They will also examine port systems and export processes.
