Senior officials from Afghanistan and Azerbaijan met in Baku to discuss expanding economic cooperation and improving transit routes for Afghan exports. The discussions were led by Mullah Faizullah Tamim, director of the Afghanistan Standards and Quality Authority, and Rahman Dursun oglu Hummatov, Azerbaijan’s deputy minister of digital development and transport.
Representatives from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the state-owned Oil and Gas Company also attended the meeting.
