Afghan bodybuilder Ali Bilal has secured his second New York Pro title, winning the men’s open physique division in the United States in early May. The victory marks another milestone in Bilal’s international career, adding to a series of recent podium finishes on the global stage.

Bilal claimed first place after finishing ahead of Brazilian competitor Edvan Palmeira, as reported by Pajhwok, though Afghanistan International listed the runner-up as Adwan Palmira. Indonesian athlete Isa Kesik placed third in the division. Following the event, Bilal publicly dedicated the win to Afghanistan, describing the achievement as a significant honor for the country.

The New York Pro victory builds on Bilal’s established competitive record. He previously captured the Arnold Classic title in 2024 and earned runner-up finishes at the Mr. Olympia competition in both 2024 and 2025.
