Afghan Chamber of Commerce Meets Uzbek Counterparts in Tashkent to Strengthen Economic Ties
TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (Afghan Verified) -- The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries held discussions with Uzbek counterparts in Tashkent to bolster bilateral economic relations and expand trade cooperation.
Hurriyat reported that the head of the chamber met with the Tashkent governor, where both sides committed to increased cooperation. The meeting took place as the "Afghanistan Built" exhibition of Afghan products continued in the Uzbek capital.
RTA stated that the gathering marked the first meeting of the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Joint Trade Council, during which the two sides signed a framework agreement. According to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the agreement represents a step toward strengthening trade ties and broadening economic relations.
The discussions highlight ongoing efforts to enhance economic engagement between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, focusing on trade expansion and mutual cooperation amid regional exhibitions and formal agreements.
