Syed Karim Hashimi, head of Afghanistan's General Chamber of Commerce and Investment, led an official delegation to the Bharat Buildcon international construction exhibition in India. The exhibition brought together representatives from more than eighty countries across more than three hundred fifty pavilions that showcased products from the agricultural, industrial, and construction sectors.
During the event, Hashimi extended invitations to Indian and international investors to participate in Afghanistan's mining, extraction, production, and construction industries. He emphasized the extensive opportunities available in these areas. The delegation conducted meetings aimed at fostering economic cooperation between the two nations.
Hashimi was joined by Afghan Ambassador to India Noor Ahmad Noor and health attaché Syed Emad Hashimi as they toured the various pavilions. The group also paid a visit to an Indian company specializing in traditional spices. In those discussions, they explored ways to expand trade involving medicinal plants from Afghanistan to India.
