Afghan Entrepreneur Killed by Unknown Gunmen in Quetta

An Afghan entrepreneur was killed in a targeted shooting in the Pakistani city of Quetta. The victim has been identified as Mohammad Hashem Noorzai, who was the owner of the popular Kabul Jan restaurant located in the city.

Unknown armed attackers opened fire on Noorzai, striking him with three bullets. One bullet hit him in the head, and two others struck his hands. The wound to the head was fatal, leading to his immediate death at the scene.

The armed men escaped from the location without being apprehended. Police arrived at the site after the attackers had already fled the area. A friend of the deceased then transferred the body to a hospital in Quetta.

According to available information, Noorzai had no known personal enmities with anyone. He had also not received any threats before the incident occurred.

The motive for the killing remains unknown at this time. Investigations are being conducted by the Balochistan police to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The Interior Minister of Balochistan has ordered that a complete report on the incident be submitted within twenty four hours. The minister has also directed that the perpetrators be arrested as soon as possible.

Deputy Interior Minister Babar Yousafzai has confirmed that instructions have been issued to law enforcement agencies to ensure the swift arrest of those involved in the shooting.
