Taliban officials in Khost province claimed their forces seized a Pakistani post and left one body behind after the fighting. Security sources cited by Hurriyat said Afghan forces destroyed the post, with 203 Mansouri Corps spokesman Abdul Haq Fida confirming heavy losses for the Pakistani side and the recovery of one soldier's body.
