
Afghan MMA Fighter Sakhi Qanbari Defeats Brazilian Opponent by First-Round Submission
PARIS, France — Afghan mixed martial arts fighter Sakhi Qanbari defeated Brazilian Gabriel Pasqualotti by submission in the first round during the 39th edition of the RSFC event in France on Friday night.
Qanbari forced his opponent to tap out early in the bout, securing a quick victory and extending his professional record to nine wins in 11 fights.
Pasqualotti, who had previously recorded six wins and two losses in eight bouts, suffered his third career defeat in the matchup.
The RSFC 39 event brought together international MMA competitors in France, providing a platform for fighters like Qanbari to showcase their skills on a global stage. Qanbari's performance highlights the growing presence of Afghan athletes in the competitive world of mixed martial arts.
