Afghanistan's Industry Minister Visits Kunduz Industrial Park Construction Site

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) -- Nooruddin Azizi, Afghanistan's Minister of Industry and Commerce, visited Kunduz province and the construction site of the Kunduz Industrial Park during a trip to northern and northeastern regions.

Azizi held discussions with local officials focused on strengthening the private sector, developing commercial activities, growing domestic industries and addressing related challenges. The visit aimed at promoting industrial development, supporting the private sector and bolstering overall economic growth, according to a ministry announcement.

During the inspection of the park's construction progress, Azizi emphasized the need to accelerate work while ensuring high quality. The Kunduz Industrial Park is being developed on 10,000 jeribs of land in line with a decree from Amir al-Mu'minin.

The ministry highlighted the trip's objectives as advancing industrial initiatives and fostering economic expansion through enhanced private sector involvement.
