Asphalting work has resumed on the remaining sections of the ring road located in the 15th district of Herat city. The primary objective of the project is to improve the local road network and reduce traffic congestion for residents and commuters in the area.
Engineer Mohammad Ayub Saifaljahad, the head of technical and professional affairs of the Herat Municipality, provided the specific financial and operational details of the project. He stated that the asphalting work is being funded by the Herat Municipality's development budget, with a total expenditure of 30,938,154 Afghanis.
Saifaljahad explained that the project had previously encountered delays resulting from technical problems. Despite these earlier challenges, the municipality is now moving forward with the construction. The official indicated that the work is expected to be completed and the road handed over within a period of six months.
