
Bank of Israel Reports $112 Billion in Costs from Conflicts Since October 2023
The Bank of Israel has reported that the Gaza war and clashes with Yemen's Houthis, groups in Lebanon, and Iran since October 2023 have cost approximately $112 billion.
These conflicts have averaged a daily cost of $96 million, imposing a heavy burden on Israel's economy.
The wars have also seriously damaged Israel's global political and economic standing.
An RTA report citing the central bank detailed the $112 billion figure in its body text, though its headline referred to $122 billion in losses since 2023.
